The industrial automation global leader realized they needed to automate their Engineering to Order (ETO) process to reduce data entry errors and cost. The Manager of Engineering Data Management had the key responsibility of managing the company’s data management systems and their accuracy and reached out to CPS to discuss their challenges.
Hundreds of materials, designs and bill of materials (BOMs) were manually created weekly in SAP. The system users were determining who should be assigned the next step and if it wasn’t chosen correctly, there were delays.
